Yields: 6 Servings

Honey, garlic and other spices make this satisfying meal appealing to anyone.

Directions:

  1. Heat the oil in heavy skillet with lid or use electric skillet. Add chopped onion, green pepper, minced garlic and meat.
  2. Cook and stir until lightly browned. Drain off excess oil. Add honey, salt and chilli powder. Blend well.
  3. Add noodles and tomatoes. Mix well. Sprinkle top with cheese. Cover.
  4. Turn heat low. Continue cooking for 30 minutes or until noodles are done.

Ingredients:

2 tablespoons oil

1 small onion, chopped

1 medium green pepper, chopped

1 clove of garlic, finely minced

1 pound ground chuck or round

1 tablespoon honey

2 teaspoons salt

1 teaspoon chili powder

¼ pound dry egg noodles

1 can (1 pound 12 ounces) tomatoes

½ pound diced sharp cheddar cheese
